If you follow my stuff, I?m a different breed from all the usual fitness tripe you see swirling round the internet.
Like:
Photos of 20-somethings high 5-ing each other
Personal trainers flexing with their tops off spouting: ?you just need to want it bad enough?,
Or someone photographed on a mountain top with a quote about achieving your dreams.
WHY?
Because it?s not you! Not your struggles, your life, your journey. And that does the OPPOSITE of what you need ? it DEMOTIVATES you.
I do try to give you stuff I know that will help, no matter how hard hitting it is.
Most of the stuff I pull up, I?ve gone through myself! Yep, I know the tricks of the trade that keep us locked in a rut.
I did it for years, making excuses, locked in fear, doubted myself. Which all stopped me from getting what I claimed I wanted.
So today I?m gonna tell you what I did for years and I bet you do too!
INFORMATION GATHERING.
((You probably don?t even realise you?re doing it))
What I mean by that is:
- You read magazines about fad diets but never really stick to any ? there?s always another one distracting you.
- Wanting to find the perfect exercise, everyday being drawn to someone?s opinion about the best way to burn fat
- You?re a member of numerous Facebook fitness forums, looking to see what people say about the quickest ways to get results.
- You follow several PT?s in your area, reading their posts and watching videos of their sessions.
- Maybe you email a few to ask about their prices and times when you get really inspired.
- You think you need a meal plan, a list of foods and times is going to fix years of issues.
HOWEVER ??. (this is the hard part)
All this is >>>>>> is avoiding taking action to get what you need.
I don?t know the reason why this is, it?s very personal, Most people claim they?re lazy.
I personally don?t believe that people who usually hold down jobs, run households, raise children and lead the busy lives we do, are lazy.
Lazy is a emmmmm ?.. lazy term!
The reason is usually fear because you?ve failed before numerous times and you don?t wish to end up disappointed again.
Doubting yourself that you can actually do it because it?s never worked before.
As a result, we create obstacles in the way that we claim prevents us from getting what we want.
And collecting information is one of those tactics.
Pushing stuff into the future.
It NEVER gets achieved does it? Let?s be honest.
Here?s my opinion:
WE ALL KNOW HOW TO GET RESULTS.
We know that exercise is a positive thing.
We know what foods are generally healthy and which ones should be treated with caution.
We generally know we need to burn more than we put in.
Etc.

So looking for MORE information is just avoidance.
So what?s the solution?????
Well, here?s what I did/do??
FIRST: Admit inside, ?yep, he?s right. I have been taking the p***?.
SECOND: Just do something. Anything.
That?s anything that?s going to move you towards your goal.
So that could be choosing to eat a better breakfast instead of chocolate CocoPops.
Walking in the evening before dinner for 10 mins.
Drinking SOME water ? if you drink NONE.
Anything, small as you like.
So long as it?s better than the day before and makes you feel better about yourself, like you?re making a difference.
And just pick small things, everyday.
See the people you think are ?lucky? and you wonder how they do it, how they get results?

Deep down, I know you know I?m making sense!
