We focused TOO greatly on training and nutrition. NOT enough on community!
“Why is this important?? Surely the training and food is more important?” I hear you ask!
Well ….. NO! 🙂
We’ve had more success with the gym (and peoples’ attendance and enjoyment) by putting on regular community events – yes, even drinking nights out!
The secret is this: the more people enjoy each other’s company, the more the turn up to chat with ‘friends’ during their workouts, the fitter and stringer they get, the longer they stay, the healthier and happier they are …..
Can you see this incredibly positive cycle? So we push community GREATLY! 🙂
